Established in 1823, Auchentoshan, meaning ‘corner of the field’ in Scots Gaelic, is one of only three remaining malt distilleries in the Lowland whisky region of Scotland. The distillery rests at the foot of the Old Kilpatrick hills overlooking the river Clyde, which runs through the heart of Glasgow in the West of Scotland. Auchentoshan is forged in the fires of The Industrial Revolution and the Glaswegian sweat of their Scottish forefathers, and prides itself on being Distilled Different. The Auchentoshan Single Malt is an urban city malt, renowned for being triple-distilled to the last drop, giving it an exceptionally subtle, smooth and pure quality.
